The Scientific Council of ISSP-BAS operates in accordance with the Law on the Development of Academic Staff in the Republic of Bulgaria and its regulations, the Statute of BAS, and the Regulations for the Activities, Structure, Management, and Internal Work Order of ISSP-BAS.
The Scientific Council elects its Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, and Secretary for the duration of its mandate through a secret ballot, requiring a majority of more than half of its total members.
