The Institute of Solid State Physics is organizing a seminar titled "Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden Rossendorf (HZDR) and Research for Future Generations", with guest lecturer Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Sebastian M. Schmidt, Scientific Director of Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden – Rossendorf (HZDR) and Vice President of the Helmholtz Association.
Prof. Schmidt will present the activities of the research center and discuss opportunities for collaboration in the fields of science, scientific infrastructure, as well as technology and innovation development.
With around 1,500 employees and an annual budget of approximately 180 million euros, Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) is the largest legally independent research center in Eastern Germany, with research facilities in Germany and France.
The event will take place on June 26, 2025, at 4:00 PM in the Conference Hall of the Institute of Solid State Physics – BAS, 72 Tsarigradsko Shosse Blvd., Sofia. More information can be found in the attached invitation.
