On 15th of May we participated in the Spring Career Day at the Faculty of Physics, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski"!
Visitors had the opportunity to meet representatives of our research areas: Functional materials and nanostructures; Soft matter physics; Laser physics and atomic, molecular, and plasma physics; Optics and optical methods.
On-site, we presented opportunities for internships, PhD studies, and careers in an interdisciplinary scientific environment. We met inspired young people, shared experiences, and exchanged ideas.
Our demonstration of the LIBS (Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) system attracted special interest — a technology for fast and precise material analysis that impressed the visitors.
We would like to thank all the students, young scientists, and guests who visited our booth and learned more about the development opportunities at the Institute of Solid State Physics – BAS.
We also thank all our colleagues who dedicated their time to participate and inspire students with their personal examples and expertise.
