3. Development of New Laser Sources
This includes the development and research of unique multi-wavelength laser systems based on metal vapors and metal halides with high power and beam quality, generating in the ultraviolet (UV) and visible spectral ranges – both through direct generation and nonlinear frequency doubling.
These systems are applicable in the precision micromachining of various materials used in microelectronics and optics, as well as in the investigation of optical properties and water quality, particularly in cases of microplastic pollution.
