On April 29, 2025, staff from the Institute of Solid State Physics (ISSP-BAS) took part in tree and rose planting, as well as in athletic competitions during the spring sports celebration held under the motto "Peaceful Atom – Green Planet", which took place in the courtyard of the BAS Science Complex 2.
The event is organized annually by the Institute for Nuclear Research and Nuclear Energy (INRNE-BAS) to mark the 39th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. This year, the initiative was held with the support of the Institute of Solid State Physics, the Institute of Electronics, the Central Laboratory of Solar Energy and New Energy Sources, and the State Enterprise "Radioactive Waste".
With enthusiasm and joint efforts, we continue to build a greener future. Science and responsibility go hand in hand.
