Научноизследователските интереси на направлението са свързани с квантовата теория на кондензираната материя и статистическата физика. По-конкретно, те обхващат изследвания в областите квантов магнетизъм, нелинейни явления и математическо моделиране на физическите процеси в кондензирани среди.
